An Overview
The Alumni Family of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, known as KAMI UMN, was established on February 23, 2013. This organization was initiated by UMN to unite its graduates across Indonesia and abroad. KAMI UMN aims to strengthen relationships among UMN alumni and between alumni and their alma mater. Demonstrating its commitment, KAMI UMN officially registered as an organization on February 24, 2015. The founding deed was signed by Bonaventura Aditya, the first chairman of KAMI UMN.
KAMI UMN regularly organizes various activities for alumni with the goals of enhancing alumni competencies, improving networking, and fostering further contributions. Key activities include KAMI Skill Update and KAMI Industrial Insight for professional development. Networking is facilitated through Alumni Gatherings (reunions), and regularly updated newsletters and bulletins that provide current information about UMN and its alumni. Alumni contributions are actively encouraged and include knowledge sharing through Alumni Sharing, providing scholarships to students in need, and other activities.
Currently, KAMI UMN is in its third generation, led by Chairman Christian Wijasa, S.Kom, and Vice Chairman Michael Christy Gunawan, S.I.Kom. The third generation is dedicated to increasing active alumni participation and developing a data infrastructure to inform decision-making, all aimed at enhancing the quality of UMN alumni.
